I would suggest that you try making playlists. That's what I do if I want a song or some songs from a specific musical group, but I don't want all of their songs. For example I have a playlists containing only the good owl city songs, an another playlist has all kinds of singles. You can modify your playlists in iTunes and on your iPod/iPhone
